Payment policy

The cost of the first night stay is payable 2 days before latest check-in time and will be charged automatically to the payment card you provide. Any remaining balance, as well as extra expenses incurred, if any, will be collected during your stay prior to check-out.

Cancellation policy

If the booking is cancelled up to 2 days before latest check-in time it is free of charge, less than 2 days before latest check-in time, the charge is the cost of the first night stay, less than 1 day before latest check-in time, the charge is 100% of total booking.

Getting there

To find Lower Wythall using the internet, enter Lower Wythall into GoogleMaps, rather than the postcode. When using SatNav, the postcode HR9 5SD takes you past the house and further up Bulls Hill.
When you turn into Bulls Hill from the B4234, Lower Wythall is the large black and white house 300m up Bulls Hill ahead of you. The entrance is on the 1st sharp bend between the two conifers and standing stones.

Arrival and Departure

Our check-in time is between 16:00 and 20:00 on day of arrival and check-out is before 10:30 on day of departure. Please contact us if you want to arrive or depart outside these times, and we will try to accommodate you.

Alcoholic Drinks

We do not have a licence to sell alcohol, but have glasses and a fridge available for guest use, so please feel free to bring your own.

Terms and Conditions


Bookings are made and a contract comes into effect between the person or legal entity making the Booking ('You/Your') and Lower Wythall B&B ('We, Us, Our') when We accept a reservation from You. A reservation is deemed accepted when We have emailed to you a booking confirmation (‘Confirmation’) and received either: (i) full payment of the total price; or (ii) payment of any other amount We have specified at the time of Your Booking; or (iii) Your valid payment card (‘Card’) details to reserve Your booking.

These Booking Terms are governed by English law and apply to all Bookings placed with Us. By making a Booking You are deemed to accept and be bound by these Booking Terms. 

You must be able to enter into a legally binding contract and be over 18 years of age to make a Booking.


All prices include applicable taxes at the current rate. Prices quoted are correct only for the specific number of guests, dates, nights and rooms shown on Your Confirmation. Prices do not include other costs You may choose to incur during Your stay.


In the rare case that We are unable to accommodate You as per Your Confirmation, We will offer You alternative accommodation, or if none is available, We will advise You Your booking is cancelled. If the accommodation offered is of a lower value, the rate charged will be reduced and if of a higher value, no increased charge will be made. If We have cancelled Your booking or You do not want to accept the alternative accommodation offered, then You may reject it, and any payment made to Us will be refunded in full and our cancellation policy will not apply. Our liability should We cancel Your booking is limited to a full refund of any payments that have been made by You.

Arrival and departure

The latest arrival (check-in) and departure (check-out) times are specified on Your Confirmation. Should You wish to check-in later than the specified latest check-in time You must confirm this to Us directly. In the event that You attempt to check-in later than the stated times without prior arrangement, or fail to check-in at all, We may cancel the entire Booking and Our cancellation terms will apply.


If You cancel Your Booking, the Cancellation Policy detailed on Your Confirmation will apply. If You have made any payment to Us, and that payment is more than is due under the cancellation policy, the difference will be refunded to You.

If You do not arrive on the date and time of check-in detailed on Your Confirmation and You have not contacted and informed Us of Your delay to which we have responded, then we may deem Your booking cancelled. We shall not be under any obligation to hold the accommodation for You on any other date and all payments will be due as detailed in our Cancellation Policy. 


Our payment policy and amounts payable are detailed on Your Confirmation. Any amounts payable will be charged to Your credit or debit card or PayPal account or any other payment type offered at the time of Booking. If at any time Your card is declined or Paypal account does not have sufficient funds available, We will contact You to request provision of new valid card details, but also reserve the right to automatically cancel Your Booking.

At the end of Your stay, any remaining outstanding balance and any additional goods and services purchased during Your stay must be paid in full. Should You leave the premises without settling any outstanding amount We reserve the right to charge the payment card You provided at the time of Booking.

IMPORTANT - We may use Your payment card details to guarantee Your reservation according to PCI-DSS security standards. As soon as You enter the period beyond which the Booking can no longer be cancelled free of charge, We may pre-authorise or charge Your card for an amount equal to any cancellation fees as they become due. A pre-authorisation is NOT a charge and no monies are taken from Your account, but the credit limit available on Your card may be temporarily reduced by the value of any cancellation fee applicable at that time.


Although We take great care in how we present details of our accommodation, We do not make any particular representation as to the suitability of Our accommodation to Your specific requirements. Should You have any specific concerns or, requirements, please contact us directly BEFORE the cancellation deadline, and We will do our best to address these.

Other than for death or personal injury caused by Our negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation, Our total liability to You is limited to the total price detailed on the Confirmation and in no circumstances will We be responsible for any indirect or special damages.

We will not be liable to You where We have exercised reasonable care and skill in our provision of the selected accommodation services to You. We will not be liable for failure to perform to the extent that the failure is caused by any factors beyond Our reasonable control, including the provision of said accommodation services.

You are responsible for any damage or loss caused by You during Your stay with Us, including any damage to Our property by Your act, omission, default or neglect and You agree to indemnify Us and You agree to pay Us on demand the amount reasonably required to make good or remedy any such damage or loss. Further, we reserve the right to terminate Your Booking immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation where You engage in unacceptable behaviour that causes a disturbance or nuisance to Our staff or to other guests on Our premises.

Data protection

We take the protection of personal data very seriously. We may process the information You provide to Us for the sole purposes of completing our duties under this Agreement.
Your Data may also be processed by Our third-party suppliers. These include online travel agents with whom You may have made Your booking, and companies that operate Our reservation or Our payment system, where the transfer of Your data is necessary for the successful completion of Your Booking. Whilst we have been given assurances that these third parties operate in conformance with UK data protection regulations, we cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever should they breach those regulations with Your personal data. If You have any concerns, You should address them to these third parties directly. Please contact us, and we will provide their details.

By making a Booking, You consent to this processing of information as described above and the transfer of Your information to the Establishment and to the booking channel(s) through which Your booking originated.
